Operation Christmas Child, the unique missions project of Samaritan's Purse, has touched the lives of more than 94 million hurting children since 1993 by distributing 94,664,572 gift-filled shoeboxes and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in crisis areas of the world. Yet there are millions more hurting children still waiting to hear that God loves them -- and it all starts with you! Get involved and help change this world by becoming a member of our Lowcountry Team today.
The area (Beaufort, Hilton Head, Jasper, and Hampton) did a total of 14,196 up from last years total of 12,813 by 1,383 shoe boxes. This is a 11% increase over last year. The goal for 2012 is 15,050. This means we are praying for a 6% increase over last years 13,196. The shoe boxes have increased by over 400% since my involvement began in 2001. We thank God for all those who participated this year (2011) and impacted the lives of the needest children in the world.
Through the ministry of thousands of dedicated volunteers, Operation Christmas Child has brought joy and the message of God's unconditional love to hurting children in over 120 countries.

Barry Malphrus our Lowcoutry Team, SC area coordinator recently had the privilege to help with a shoe-box distribution in the Dominican Republic. The joy and hope that the boxes brought to those children will be with him for a lifetime. Barry would love the opportunity to come to your church or organization and tell how one person can make a difference in a child’s life for eternity.
