Testimonials

Our school has participated in Operation Christmas Child for a number of years. Last year, Mr. Barry Malphrus presented a program during an assembly. His message inspired amazing giving on the part of our children and their families. We went from 40 or so boxes in 2006 to 154 boxes in 2007 and even 240 in 2008! Our boys and girls responded with generous hearts because of the impact the message Mr. Malphrus shared and the video he presented. The students wanted to reach out to boys & girls across the world with gifts or caring. We have been blessed by being a part of Operation Christmas Child.

For three years, Barry has spoken in our church to help us inform our members about shoeboxes for Operation  Christmas Child. He shared about the big difference such small gifts make in the lives of so many children around the world. His dedication and enthusiasm for this program are contagious toeveryone who hears him.

The Lowcountry Team of Operation Christmas Child has come to our church the past three years as a
team of highly qualified and professional people. Barry Malphrus has always exceeded our expectations in creating an excitement for Operation  Christmas Child. They have prepared wonderful attractive displays and provided an excellent musician to share in our services of worship. I recommend them to your church with the fullest confidence that you will be glad they came and shared with your congregation their ministry.

To Whom It may Concern:

Barry Malphrus and his team came to our church to do a presentation for Operation Christmas Child for the first time this year. Although the DVD is very informative I believe their presentation and testimonies presented with such enthusiasm for the project conveyed much more than could come from just watching the DVD. It is also great to have the interaction with questions and answers on how the program works in our local community as well as the vast BIG picture. We are a small country church at this time and the response to the project after Barry's presentation was overwhelming. I would highly recommend inviting them to all the area churches for the Mission outreach that we are all commissioned to do.

We would like to thank Brother Barry Malphrus and his colleagues for their hard work, prayer, and dedication to the Operation Christmas Child program. It was such a delight to have them visit our church and help to open our hearts and minds to what it really means to be in poverty and need at Christmas. Brother Barry gave a wonderful presentation, in light of not having the proper technology to show the accompanying video, on the details of how the program is run, what it provides and the great need to keep it going. We were able to fix boxes individually, during our mission classes with the children and make monetary donations on the date of Barry's visit. We hope that they will continue to visit our church in the future to help remind us of the great need and importance in this program for all the many children across this world. We look forward to continuing our work with Brother Barry and his team in the future to help out in any way possible!

Thanks and God Bless,

There is a saying that "enthusiasm is contagious". Get ready to get infected with a giant dose of "Enthusium" ( a virus derived from extreme enthusiasm) ! You will be nothing but blessed by a presentation made to your group by Barry Malphrus. He truly "gets" what Operation Christmas Child is all about and has a very unique and passionate way of translating that message to others. Shoeboxes always increase when you allow someone with passion and knowledge to "infect" your group. I would strongly urge anyone who has a passion for the lost children of the world to allow Barry to "infect" you with this most joyful "virus"!
